Armed males abduct seven cops from KP’s Bannu

BANNU: Unidentified armed males kidnapped seven cops from the Ahmedzai sub-division in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s (KP) Bannu district, Geo Information reported Monday citing District Police Officer (DPO) Ziauddin.

In accordance with the DPO, the armed males seized the management of the Rocha checkpost and kidnapped the police personnel.

Ziauddin added {that a} search operation has been launched to catch the abductors after cordoning off the realm. 

The incident occurred after maghrib prayer when a bunch of armed males took the policemen hostage at a checkpost, DPO Ziauddin stated, including that the cops had been shifted to an undisclosed location together with their weapons.
