The America Pakistan Business Development Forum (AMPAK BDF) has recently organized the ‘Mango Festival 2024’ at PACC on the occasion of US Independence Day which increases the cordial relation between both countries –Pakistan and the United States of America.
At this event, there was a courtesy by Conrad Tribble, the US Consul General who was stepping up to acknowledge the fact that the mango festival was also celebrating the US Independence Day. He stressed the appropriate nature of such occasions as critical in enhancing interaction between countries and thus business and other cultural activities. Speakers of AMPAK BDF and PACC received commendation words from the director of Tribble for their good performance in officially celebrating the completion of the event.
Consul General highlighted the importance of understanding relations between the United States and Pakistan from the aspect of trade cooperation; according to him, the US is the largest trade partner of Pakistan. He talked about the interest in diversification of this cooperation in different fields, in order to look for new opportunities for collaboration and development.
Before the signing of the MOU, the Guest of honor, Shaikh Imtiaz Hussain, President of AMPAK BDF and famous mango exporter officially inaugurated his speech expressing the fact that Pakistan has a massive volume of mango export. He expressed his words of appreciation and gratitude to Consul General Conrad Tribble who served as the chief guest and to PACC President Makhdoom Syed Riaz Ali and his team for all the good work that he had done for the successful celebration of the event.
Makhdoom Syed Riaz Ali appreciated the event and, in turn, thanked AMPAK BDF for hosting it. Thus, the two organizations agreed to work together continuously in order to consolidate the friendship between the two countries.
These included Mango dishes and Mango drinks, a presentation of the agri products bilateral relations between the two countries. Listeners went to different mango stands with different types of mangoes and savored mango delicacies. On the Fourth of July, an independence day of the USA, there was a cake-cutting ceremony which indicates freedom, democracy, and a friendly relationship between the two countries.
Two organizations introduced that for the further establishment of the relationship between AMPAK BDF and PACC, the celebration of the Mango Festival and the US Independence Day would be annual.
