Pezeshkian to Trump: I can’t negotiate


TEHRAN:

President Masoud Pezeshkian stated Iran wouldn’t negotiate with the U.S. whereas being threatened, telling President Donald Trump to “do regardless of the hell you need”, Iranian state media reported on Tuesday.

“It’s unacceptable for us that they (the U.S.) give orders and make threats. I will not even negotiate with you. Do regardless of the hell you need”, state media quoted Pezeshkian as saying.

Iran’s Supreme Chief Ayatollah Ali Khamenei stated on Saturday that Tehran wouldn’t be bullied into negotiations, a day after Trump stated he had despatched a letter urging Iran to have interaction in talks on a brand new nuclear deal.

Whereas expressing openness to a cope with Tehran, Trump has reinstated the “most stress” marketing campaign he utilized in his first time period as president to isolate Iran from the worldwide economic system and drive its oil exports down in the direction of zero. Reuters
