UNSC condemns terrorist assault on Jaffar Specific, requires accountability

The members of United Nations Safety Council have strongly condemned the heinous and cowardly terrorist assault on a Jaffar Specific Passenger Prepare in Pakistan.  

In a press assertion issued by Council President Christina Markus Lassen on Friday, the members expressed deepest sympathy and condolences to the households of the victims and wished a speedy and full restoration of injured.

“The members of the Safety Council condemned within the strongest phrases the heinous and cowardly terrorist assault on a Jaffar Specific Passenger Prepare travelling from Quetta to Peshawar close to town of Sibi, Balochistan province, Pakistan, on 11 March 2025 and the taking of passengers as hostages.  This reprehensible act of terrorism resulted within the grievous lack of a minimum of 25 Pakistani nationals,” stated the press launch.

They underlined the necessity to maintain perpetrators, organizers, financiers and sponsors of those reprehensible acts of terrorism accountable and produce them to justice and urged all States to cooperate actively with the Authorities of Pakistan on this regard.

This reprehensible act of terrorism resulted within the grievous lack of a minimum of twenty-five Pakistani nationwide and Balochistan Liberation Military claimed that the assault was carried out by its Majeed Brigade.
