Gold Prices Rise to Rs 262,500 per Tola in Pakistan Despite Global Drop

Rates for gold increased in Pakistan on Saturday even though there was a deterioration in rates on an international level. For the domestic market, gold price per tola increased by Rs 1000 and reached Rs 262500. At the same time, the rate for 10 grams of gold went up by Rs857 and stood at a total of Rs225,051 according to All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

But the price rose on Saturday after a significant drop was observed on Thursday as per which the gold price decreased to Rs 210,500 per tola.

On the other hand, the international gold rate declined on Saturday.
