PESHAWAR: Maulana Fazlur Rehman has been re-elected unopposed because the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief for a five-year tenure because the politico-religious celebration held its intra-party polls on Sunday.

Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri was additionally elected unopposed for one more time period because the JUI-F secretary-general.

In response to the celebration’s spokesperson, the election was held throughout a common council assembly at Mufti Mehmood Markaz, Peshawar.

The assembly was attended by almost 1,500 common council members from throughout the nation, added spokesperson Aslam Ghauri.
