KARACHI: The Sindh authorities has introduced a brand new grading coverage for matric and intermediate exams as a part of efforts to modernize the schooling system.
College students of the province is not going to get marks and positions, however grades, based on a notification issued by the Secretary of Boards and Universities, Muhammad Abbas Baloch, making Sindh the primary province in Pakistan to implement such a system.
The brand new grading coverage shall be efficient from 2025. Beneath this method, college students shall be evaluated and awarded grades as a substitute of conventional marks and positions.
The notification additional states that the primary, second, and third positions shall be abolished below the brand new grading system.
The Inter-Board Coordination Committee (IBCC) has formulated a brand new grading formulation, which assigns grades primarily based on proportion scores.
