‘Alleged rigging’ ET imposes fine on two PML-N MNAs

A political decision council in Islamabad has fined PML-N administrators Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Raja Khurram Nawaz Rs 20,000 each for not submitting answers and applicable archives concerning claimed abnormalities in the February 8 general races for NA seats 46, 47, and 48. Equity Tariq Mahmood Jahangiri of the Islamabad High Court managed the council, which is assessing petitions by PTI pioneers Amir Mughal, Shoaib Shaheen, and Ali Bukhari against PML-N’s Anjum Aqeel Khan, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and Raja Khurram Nawaz, individually.

The council noticed that no stay request from the unrivaled legal executive keeps it from hearing these cases. Albeit the protection scrutinized the cases’ legitimacy, the council chose to continue. The fined MNAs were told to submit affirmations and vital reports before the forthcoming hearings on July 9 and 10. Anjum Aqeel Khan’s case was deferred to July 11, as his direction guaranteed all necessary archives were at that point given.

The council reported that it would hold day-to-day hearings and force Rs 100,000 fines on any party creating setbacks. Notwithstanding a questionable Political race Commission of Pakistan’s choice to supplant the council judge, the Islamabad High Court suspended this request, permitting Equity Jahangiri to keep directing the cases.
