Punjab’s Information Minister, Azma Bokhari, has voiced her concerns over the Sindh government’s reaction to Punjab’s recent move to provide relief on electricity bills. Bokhari urged Sindh to focus on helping its own citizens instead of being envious. She pointed out that Maryam Nawaz used Punjab’s funds to offer this relief, showing the Punjab government’s dedication to its people.
Responding to PPP leader Saeed Ghani’s statements, Bokhari expressed disappointment, saying it’s surprising to see a party that claims to represent the people opposing efforts to ease public burdens. She highlighted that Punjab’s Chief Minister genuinely cares about the people and encouraged Sindh to step up and support its residents too. Bokhari also criticized the PPP for getting caught up in politics instead of addressing the real needs of the people during these tough times.
