‘Bomb’ joke prompts arrest of two passengers on Isl-Khi flight

KARACHI: Two passengers travelling on a flight from Islamabad to Karachi had been arrested by authorities on Tuesday after they cracked a joke a few “bomb”. 

Based on sources, the airplane of a personal airline was then stopped on suspicion of a bomb and all of the passengers had been completely searched after being offloaded from the airplane. 

The detained passengers, who had been associates, instructed the flight attendant that they had been joking, the sources added.

Nevertheless, Airports Safety Drive (ASF) offloaded each of them and took them in custody.

As a result of incident, the flight from Islamabad to Karachi was reportedly delayed for three-and-a-half hours.

In an analogous incident, a British passenger confronted a penalty of as much as $24,500 after he mentioned that “he was going to explode the airplane” whereas on his option to the island of Menorca.

Nevertheless, his message on Snapchat was picked up by the UK safety providers who alerted the Spanish authorities, asking them to scramble two Spanish fighter jets to comply with the airplane.

Aditya Verma, who was 18 on the time, was taken into custody and was jailed for 2 days after being launched on bail. He instructed the courtroom it was ” joke in a personal group setting”.

“It was simply despatched to my associates I used to be travelling with on the day,” he mentioned.
