Ulema and Zakireen will focus on the divine message of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and the aspects of the Karbala incident. Majalis will be conducted in mosques and Imam Bargahs and there it will be delivered by religious scholars about the meaning of martyrdom and Ahl-e-Bayt.
Precautions have been taken to ensure that no negative occurrence happens throughout the processions. The mobile phone services have been barred and the restrictions of allowing only Emergency calls have been imposed in the provision of areas near the processions and Majalis. On Tuesday, many processions were taken out across the country for the 9th of Muharram in the memory of Karbala Martyrs. The chief procession which started from Pandu Street Islampura was taken to the city center where the participants offered their respects. Its ceremony was followed through and the proceeding taking of the body around the town and burial was accomplished without incident. From other areas of the city, processions were also taken out in the name of ‘Alam’ and Zul-Janah.
Other important personalities included the Provincial Health Minister and Chairman of the Cabinet Committee for Maintaining Peace and Order, Khawaja Salman Rafique visited the Central Control Room of the Home Department to overview the monitoring of the processions. He said that the arrangements of control room are on around the clock and some special security plans were made for the 9th and 10th of Muharram for the majalis and processions.
