KARACHI: Academic establishments positioned close to Karachi’s Karsaz and Sharea Faisal areas will stay closed for 4 days because of the twelfth version of the Worldwide Defence Exhibition and Seminar (Concepts) 2024.
In line with the Sindh Training Division, the faculties and faculties positioned on Sharea Faisal and Habib Ibrahim Street will stay closed from November 19 (Tuesday) to 22 (Friday).
The division, in a notification, stated that the choice to maintain instructional establishments closed was taken to keep up the stream of visitors throughout the exhibition, which shall be held on the Karachi Expo Middle from November 19 to 22.
A day earlier, Karachi Visitors Police issued a complete visitors diversion plan for the upcoming Concepts 2024.
Throughout the exhibition, Sir Shah Muhammad Suleman Street from Hassan Sq. to the Stadium shall be closed from 7am to 7pm, stated Deputy Inspector Normal Visitors Police Karachi Ahmed Nawaz.
In the meantime, the roads connecting College Street and Stadium Street to Expo Centre will stay closed from November 19-22. He added that small autos shall be allowed on roads across the Expo Centre whereas heavy visitors will stay off-limits.
The DIG stated that the roads related to Expo may also stay closed from 7am to 7pm together with Hassan Sq. Flyover to Nationwide Stadium Street.
