Enhancing Facilities for Sikh Pilgrims at Nankana Sahib

Federal Minister for Minorities Affairs Pakistan Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora and President of the PSGPC formally started the construction of a new complex so the Sikh pilgrims could be better accommodated at Nankana Sahib. This facility is going to provide 100 rooms that are too going to provide comfort to the pilgrims of the world.

While responding to the interview questions for the press, the Provincial Minister noted that ensuring better services meet the needs of the Sikhs who wish to execute their religious duties as conveniently and efficiently as possible is one of the main goals.

Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora also paid Several visits to Gurdwaras, including Gurdwara Lila Ram & Gurdwara Bhatti Sahib in which he had the opportunity to inaugurate new Langar Halls. These halls will be giving food and water to the pilgrims free of charge as is the Sikh’s culture.

While there, the minister demanded the Evacuee Trust Property Board be more accountable for the projects and ensure that all the projects are completed on time. These efforts he noted would supplement religious tourism, which in return would support the nation’s economy.

He further said that the Punjab Government is with them and the government will continue supporting the pilgrims and religious freedom. The pertinent institutions were directed to ensure that they start putting resources towards this end. During the visit, several members of the Pakistan Sikh Gurdwara Prabandhak Committee and officials from the Evacuee Trust Property Board were accompanying him.
