After the global trends,, Gold prices reached a new low in Pakistan for a second consecutive session on Wednesday. The price of gold in the local market per tola was reduced by Rs1,400 lowering it to Rs260,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has also fallen down Rs 1, 200 and is currently priced at Rs, 222, 994 which has been declared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
This came after Gold fell Rs1,000 on Tuesday as the precious metal closed at Rs 261,500 per tola.
Now, globally the price of gold also came down on Wednesday as the rates arrived at $ 2481 per ounce including $20 as premium which has dinted $ 17 in a single day.
Similarly, the prices of silver also declined and were cut by Rs50 and were set at Rs2,900 per tola.
Only last month, the gold prices in Pakistan made a new record of Rs263,700 for one ton of gold.
