Gold Prices in Pakistan Hit Record Highs Amid Global Trends

Karachi — Gold prices in Pakistan have again surged on Wednesday and set new record highs. This increase has been occasioned by the increase in international gold rates.

In the local market, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs300 to an all-time high of Rs261,000. For those who bought in small quantities, the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs223,765, which was Rs257 higher than previous rates.

On Tuesday, gold prices had also gone up, with the tola being sold at Rs260,700, up by Rs700.

On the international market, the price of gold was unchanged. The All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) reported that the international gold price was $2,512 per ounce with an additional $20.

On the other hand, the price of silver remained unchanged at Rs2,950 per tola, which was also the same as the previous rates.

These fluctuations are closely monitored by both the domestic and the global markets as the prices of gold keep rising. The increase in gold prices is indicative of other economic factors and may affect market actions in the future days.
