Gold costs in Pakistan rose for the third continuous meeting on Friday, reflecting the global market pattern. Locally, the cost per tola arrived at Rs249,000, denoting a solitary day increment of Rs2,200.
The cost for 10 grams of gold was Rs213,477, mirroring an ascent of Rs1,886, as per the All-Pakistan Pearls and Gem Dealers Sarafa Affiliation (APGJSA).
On the earlier day, Thursday, the gold cost per tola had previously expanded by Rs1,200 in Pakistan.
Universally, the gold rate got on Friday, with APGJSA detailing the cost at $2,404 per ounce (counting a $20 premium), after an everyday increase of $24.
Conversely, silver costs stayed consistent at Rs2,900 per tola.
Prior in April, gold costs in the nearby market had arrived at a record high of Rs252,200 per tola.
