Govt turning parliament into ‘rubber-stamp’, says PTI on companies chiefs, judges payments

ISLAMABAD: Categorically rejecting the recent payments bulldozed via the Nationwide Meeting and the Senate, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan on Monday accused the federal government of turning parliament right into a “rubber-stamp”.    

Speaking to journalists outdoors the Parliament Home, the PTI chairman stated: “Pakistan’s parliament is being made rubber-stamp. [Opposition’s] voice within the Home is being silenced. This monarchy can’t be the destiny of the Pakistani nation.”
