A would-be financial institution robber in Hamilton had his getaway plan derailed when his bicycle was stolen mid-robbery.
On Wednesday, December 18, at round 12:30 p.m., police responded to a theft try on the Financial institution of Montreal (BMO) on Higher Paradise Highway.

The suspect, a person on a bicycle, entered the financial institution and handed a word demanding money whereas allegedly threatening the teller and indicating he had a weapon.
Nonetheless, financial institution staff confronted the suspect, and he fled the scene empty-handed.
Upon exiting the financial institution, the person found his bike had been stolen. Left and not using a technique of escape, he fled on foot.
Authorities at the moment are trying to find each the tried robber, described as a white man between 5’4″ and 5’8″, and the thief who took the bike, who was wearing all black.
