Imran Khan upset over Ali Amin Gandapur’s ‘extreme’ remarks about journalists

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) foudning chairman Imran Khan has expressed his dissatisfaction with Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s remarks concerning journalists.

In a casual dialog with journalists at Adiala Jail, Imran Khan was met with protests over Gandapur’s current assertion.

Responding to the considerations, Khan acknowledged that Gandapur’s feedback had been inappropriate and that he had spoken an excessive amount of within the warmth of the second.

Imran Khan said, “Ali Amin shouldn’t have made such remarks; he went overboard.” He reiterated that journalists are working beneath immense stress, calling their reporting efforts a type of “jihad.”

Earlier on Sunday, Okay-P CM whereas addressing the rally at Islamabad’s Sangjani made extreme allegations, labelling journalists as ‘sellouts’ and ‘brokers’. These statements had been strongly condemned by reporters.

The subsequent day, throughout a Senate session on Monday , journalists boycotted proceedings in protest towards Gandapur’s speech.  PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar personally approached the journalists, providing an apology.

Journalists nevertheless had demanded a direct apology from Ali Amin Gandapur.
