The former PTI chairman Imran Khan has withdrawn his petitions made to the KPHC and the LHC against the non-granting of pre-arrest bail for three cases regarding the May 9 riots, including the burning corps commander’s house. This was after the court asked the parties to justify the admissibility of the petitions. The lawyer pointed out that Khan was not in custody when the petitions were filed as per the circumstances but the records of the court were different. As such, the court dismissed both the petitions as being immaterial and Khan’s advocate sought to and was allowed to withdraw them.
