Clashes between gunmen and Israeli forces continue in the West Bank, the latter’s operations lead to the first death of a soldier during ongoing raids. At the weekend, one of the underaged was killed in the operation, this operation has been going on for four days now. It is targeting Jenin and the refugee camp which is well-known a base for Palestinian militant organizations.
Violence escalated after an incident that occurred on the 7th of October in which Hamas attacked southern Israel triggering the war in Gaza. According to the United Nations claims, at least 637 Palestinians were killed by the Israeli forces in West Bank after them.
There have also been death incidents regarding the soldiers or the Israelis; the Palestinians or any other attacking force has killed 20 Israelis through an attack or during military operations.
Operational plans of IDF commanded by General Herzi Halevi called Operation Ghost will go on in different places and camps in the West Bank to prevent what the Israeli government regards as increased terrorist acts.
In those operations, most of the Palestinians who died belonged to groups such as Hamas who took responsibility for attacking Israeli forces.
