The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also declared that it will allow students to have free access to the second Test match which will be between Pakistan and Bangladesh in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium from 30th August 2024 to 3rd September 2024.
To enter the premises they are required to wear their school uniform and bring their educational institution ID cards. The two will get a chance to watch the game from the Imran Khan, Javed Miandad, and other VIP boxes depending on the availability of the seats. Others that will be available to them are Miran Baksh, Shoaib Akhtar, Sohail Tanvir, and Yasir Arafat. Through this move, the government is keen to ensure that the student has a first-hand encounter with live cricket and backing-up support for the national team.
However, the free access policy does not apply to the Group posting, PCB Gallery, or the Platinum Box. Earlier this month the PCB had invited fans to the Gatwick ground for the first test match on the fourth and the fifth days without any ticket charges.
For fans who would like to attend the shows and get tickets, they can do so on the PCB website. tcs. com. pk and are available at intended TCS express centers. While Premium enclosures are going for Rs200, VIP enclosure on weekdays costs Rs500 while at the weekend it costs Rs600. The Gallery pass which is accompanied by lunch and tea will cost Rs2000 and the services offered at Platinum Box are identical to that of the Gallery pass which will cost Rs12000. For Rs200, 000 one can hire a full hospitality box.
Also, free shuttle bus services will be provided on the match days on two routes to ensure that fans get better access to the stadium. The first route begins from the Aviation Ground Rawal Road Murree Road and ends at the Allama Iqbal park entrance and the second Route begins from the government satellite town college for boys 6th Road Murree Road and ends at the same entrance.
In the first Test match, Bangladesh triumphed over Pakistan by 10 wickets and thus Bangladesh leads the two-match series 1-0. As much as both teams were penalized for slow over-rate, Pakistan was deducted six International Cricket Council World Test Championship points besides being fined 30 percent of the match fee, while Bangladesh lost three WTC points and was fined 15 percent of the match fee.
