After holding public gatherings in Islamabad and Lahore, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Tuesday submitted an utility to an area administration looking for permission to carry a rally in Rawalpindi on September 28.
The Imran Khan-founded social gathering, in its utility to the deputy commissioner which has been acquired by his workplace, has communicated that it desires to carry a public gathering at both Liaquat Bagh or Bhatta Chowk.
The event follows Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s announcement, made after their September 21 Lahore energy present, that the previous ruling social gathering will maintain public gatherings in Mianwali and Rawalpindi.
The social gathering, which has struggled for months to carry public gatherings with officers denying them permission citing safety and different points, lately managed to carry rallies within the federal and Punjab’s capitals beneath strict situations.
The Lahore rally had come to an abrupt finish after police took management of the stage, turning off the microphone and lights after the occasion exceeded the 6pm deadline set by the town officers within the no-objection certificates (NOC).
