Officials of Riphah International University recently paid a courtesy call to Senator Rubina Khalid, Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP), to explore partnerships for the noble cause of enhancing public welfare.
The Riphah team led by Muhammad Junaid Khan in discussion with BISP senior officials including Idrees Mian- Director General- Complimentary Initiatives, Mehr Ali, Irfan Ullah Khan Director Media and Maryam Sikandar Deputy Director Media, Waqar Khan.
The meeting allowed Riphah’s administration to explain their educational projects and goals, and new ones including Riphah Institute of Hospitality and Culinary Arts (RIHCA) under which special attention was paid by Senator Rubina Khalid. She also admitted that the university has been offering current and growth-oriented programs to the people.
The purpose of this kind of meeting was to have a pleasant relationship between Riphah International University as part of the public sector and BISP as part of the private sector. They also spoke about areas of cooperation with special reference to education and training courses and scholarships for school leavers under BISP. The above efforts seek to impart household skills and education to enable persons to transform their socio-economic status.
