A Brazilian aircraft with 62 people on board that crashed on Friday is believed to have killed everyone on board, the president of Brazil declared.
A video also recorded sought to show the time when the plane descended behind a group of trees, with a huge ball of black smoke in the background.
Voepass, the airline, said that the flight took off from Cascavel located in the Parana state, and that its destination was Guarulhos airport in Sao Paulo. Regrettably, it crashed in the town of Vinhedo, some eighty kilometers or fifty miles from Sao Paulo.
Apparently, it did not give information on the causes of the crash of the plane that is registered as PS-VPB. The aircraft was an ATR 72-500 which is a class of aircraft turboprop manufactured by a company called ATR a Joint venture of Airbus and Leonardo company.
Addressing a public function, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva demanded audiences to observe a one-minute silence for the deceased and said that all individuals on the flight are presumed to have been killed.
Fire crews from Sao Paulo’s state fire department reported that the operation was multiplied by seven teams, as stated in the social media post.
