Israeli Raids in Gaza Kill 12, More Bodies Found

Israeli soldiers have shot dead 12 Palestinians five of whom are from the same family in a crackdown that swept through different areas of the contemptible Gaza Strip additional corpses were retrieved from the streets of districts that had been cleared earlier.

Six Palestinians were reported killed in two air raids by Israel in Jabalia, northern Gaza: one hit residents who had assembled, said the spokesman for the Palestinian Civil Defense, Mahmoud Basal. A second Palestinian was assassinated in an air raid in a house that is in the Sheikh Radwan area of the northwest part of Gaza City.

In central Gaza, which is also part of the Al-Maghazi refugee camp, two Palestinians died when their home was struck and a group in Deir al-Balah. In Khan Younis,, three other Palestinians were killed in a hit on overnight on a home in Abasan al-Kabira town.

The Civil Defense also reported that rescue teams were also able to pull nine bodies from areas in eastern Khan Younis that Israelis had left behind. Early Friday morning the Israeli army stated that it was pulled out of some locations of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah saying they ‘finished their work’ there.

After the withdrawal, many Palestinian social media activists posted pictures and Videos of the extensive destruction done by the attacks. Due to the continued aggression after the October 7 attack of Hamas, the local health authorities estimated that more than 40,600 Palestinians, mostly women and children, have died, together with over 93,800 injured.

Gaza has been surrounded and therefore they have lacked proper food, clean water as well as medicine which has put them in a bad situation. Israel continues to be accused of genocide at the International Court of Justice; the court has called for a cease in military actions in Rafah, the site of more than a million Palestinians’ asylum before May 6’s invasion.
