Huawei’s ‘Train the Trainer’ Program Aims to Boost Student Skills

Huawei has unveiled a massive training drive in Pakistan known as the “Train The Trainer” that targets to impart knowledge to 300,000 students across the country. This program is an important component of an overall approach to increasing the advancement of digital skills in Pakistan.

The launching ceremony was held in Islamabad, and the emphasis was placed on developing the trainer personnel who will help conductive knowledge to learners. This approach aims to enhance the quality of ICT education in all schools to enhance students’ preparation to meet modern-day ICT careers.

Huawei is undertaking this process in partnership with several ICT academies in Pakistan. The program is developed in a way that trainers will be able to update their ICT knowledge so that they pass it to the students. Several of these assist in ensuring that learning is enhanced with the knowledge required in the labor market.

Engaged in conversation with Pak Telecom Times, Ahmed Bilal Masood, who holds the position of Deputy CEO of Huawei Pakistan spoke about the need to invest in the IT and the youth population for the sake of the economy. He said that Huawei is proud to work for the Pakistani government and repeated the company’s interest for the program performance.

Aisha Humera Chaudhary, the secretary of IT and Telecom also endorsed the concept of GST. She added that the Ministry of Information Technology shall source students for the training and also be responsible for the quality of the program. She is more than sure that this will play a pivotal role in enabling Pakistan to grow economically and become among the most digitally empowered nations.

It is believed that a large number of trained professionals will be produced to meet the human resource requirement of many fields in Pakistan as well as in other countries to contribute significantly to the economic uplift of the country and the establishment of new ventures.
